An adaptive runic matrix. Viktor's invention was meant to allow hextech the capacity to evolve its own configuration and thereby unlock its full potential. After absorbing a sample of Viktor's blood, the hexcore began to react to organic matter in a way that allowed for biomechanical augmentation, but also proved deadly if the user lost control of it.
